How do I train my parakeet to eat new foods?

I bought three parakeets so they won’t get lonely but when i try to give them an apple they just fly crazily. I have a blue parakeet, a white one, and a green one.

When can my hand fed baby parakeet start eating seeds?

I have a very young parakeet whom was badly mutilated by another parakeet. I managed to save him (though I am unsure how he survived). I have been feeding him formula for birds but he requires feedings every two hours. I am anxious for when he can eat on his own but i have no idea on how long that is going to take and I don’t want to push him until he is ready.
He is approximately 2 weeks old.

What would be the best temperature to bring a parakeet home in?

I am getting another parakeet in the next couple of weeks and would like to know if say a 45F weather would be okay for the bird. because I don’t want it to get a draft cold.
