How often should you change the lining of a bird cage?

I have a cockatiel and I line the cage with newspaper and/or paper bags and computer paper. HOw often should I change it. Up until now, I changed it once everyday but I dont know whether or not tats too much.

How can you tell when a parakeet is younger?

I got a parakeet a few years ago and tried for a long time to tame her but because she was so old when I got her, I was never able to tame her. So is there any way to tell when they are younger? I know love birds have black on their beak so I was wondering if there was any way to tell with parakeets. If there is or isn’t, what’s the best method to tame them?

My hamsters cage is too small i can return it but the guy keeps saying he is going to order hamster cages but he never does i have been waiting for a month and a week and he stills has not ordered them what should i do.Can i use the bird cage for a hamster he is a syrian btw.

I want to put them in this cage because it’s a bit bigger than their rat tank, but i don’t know how to make ledges, (different levels/storeys in the cage) … Any ideas?

How much would it cost to buy a parakeet and all supplies needed to get it started on average?

I’ve had a few pet birds in my past when I was a kid. And now I am just curious to know how much it would be to buy a parakeet or two plus a cage and toys and what not. I am just looking to see if it is a reasonable price and that if it is worth it. I just remember them being very simple. And that’s what I liked about them.
